Snow falling on lavender

August is often the coldest time of the year, and today we have it – snow falling on lavender.
The blast from the south was well forecast with snow even appearing on beaches in and around Christchurch/Otautahi.
Our lavender was pruned in Autumn so should be able to withstand the air temperature of 3C pretty well.

August is often the coldest time of the year, and today we have it – snow falling on lavender.
The blast from the south was well forecast with snow even appearing on beaches in and around Christchurch/Otautahi.
Our lavender was pruned in Autumn so should be able to withstand the air temperature of 3C pretty well.
We are excited to complete a “soft launch” of our new brand thanks to Ellie at Clean Slate Marketing. Akaroa Lavender better sums up what we do and integrates with our future plans around accommodation and guided tours.
We will continue to follow the philosophy behind Akaroa Organics, our original brand, but for the future Akaroa Lavender is who we are.
A more formal “launch” will happen in September along with our new website and exciting details about our version of 50 Shades of Lavender!
We look forward to sharing these developments with you.
